At the Europeans each country can provide a maximum of 5 paddles to represent it. This lead to 50 of the top paddlers in Europe lining up for the Mens K1. Out of this lot I finished 18th and was the 2nd highest placest Brit. I also beat all the Irish which was a personal target so overall I was very pleased.

Is that wave still there? I'm moving to Ourense but I can't seem to find any kind of paddling community there at all!
